SolVantage Privacy Policy

SolVantage ("the App") is operated by Gunnar Hagerott, an individual based in Iowa, United States ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information directly from you:

• Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Team information: the team you belong to and your role within it (Manager or Rep).
• Sales KPI data: the daily numbers you log within the App (doors knocked, hours worked, sets, sits, closes, and related metrics). This data is entered by you and stored under your account.
• Goal data: weekly close goals and office goals you set within the App.
• Communications: in-app messages broadcast by Managers to their team.

We collect the following information automatically:

• Device information: device type, operating system, and a unique push-notification token (used only to deliver notifications you've opted into).
• Authentication metadata: timestamps of sign-in, session refresh, and account creation.

We do not collect: location data, contact lists, photos, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or any biometric information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Provide core App functionality (saving KPIs, calculating stats, displaying leaderboards within your team).
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Deliver push notifications you have opted into.
• Communicate important account or service messages (e.g., password resets).

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with marketers.

3. Where Your Information Is Stored

Your data is stored on servers operated by:

• Supabase Inc. — database, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
• Expo (Exponent, Inc.) — push-notification delivery only (push tokens and message contents pass through Expo's Push API to reach your device).

Both providers are bound by their own privacy commitments. We do not transmit your data to any other third parties.

4. Who Can See Your Data

• You can see your own data at all times within the App.
• Your Manager can see KPIs of all reps on the team they manage.
• Reps on the same team can see each other's totals on the Leaderboard.
• Reps cannot see data of users on other teams.
• Gunnar Hagerott (operator) has technical access to the underlying database for the purpose of operating and maintaining the App, but does not view individual records except for support or abuse-prevention purposes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing solvantagekpi@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account."

We will delete your account and personal data within 30 days of the request. Note: anonymized, aggregate KPI metrics may be retained for product analytics.

If your Manager offboards you from their team, your historical KPI records are retained but disassociated from the team. You may then request full deletion as described above.

6. Children's Privacy

SolVantage is not intended for and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at solvantagekpi@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and Row-Level Security policies in our database. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, change your password and email us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for processing.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the App and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
